2018-2019! Phew!
We had an exciting year in the Performing Arts Certificate program!
Students in the certificate completed the Aerial workshops with Anahareo Dolle,
Ballroom with Pamela Pittman, Stage Combat with Dylan Brenton, Accent workshops
with Paul Wilson, Ballet with Martin Vallee, Comedia Dell’arte and Neutral Mask with
Chuck Herriott, Directing and Casting Q & A with Jacinta Mackey Graham, Contemporary Dance with Lynn Panting, Q&A with Alumni Emily McKim, and casting workshop
with Maggie Keiley and Chuck Herriott.
Students also completed numerous performances and productions including:
Once Upon a Dream: a Villain’s Lament, A Christmas Story, Pink Day,
the school musical Disney’s The Little Mermaid, original plays and mini musicals in New Voices, and the HHM 60th Anniversary show.
A number of students participated in local productions with many excellent theatre companies including Mad as Hops, Tada Events, Atlantic Light Theatre, and Peter MacDonald Productions among others.
Others had on set experiences with feature film Black Conflux and a variety of local short films.
